Could your village do with a bit of a development boost; some sort of ‘big idea’, with funding and manpower for people to get behind? Is there a community business or tourism project that could transform the place if only there was the wherewithal to do it? The BIG Lottery and the BBC are looking for 6 villages around the country to help take on these types of projects, and there’s up to £400,000 per village to back it up. There. That got your attention! An additional 12 villages will get up to £10K each. Projects will run for a year from spring 2010 and will be on TV throughout.

Surely a great opportunity for some villages in Moray? Let us know if you need some help with this. Deadline is 14th of August
