The final curtain has now fallen on Pride & Passion but they’ve made sure you can still get your hands on many of the useful bits and pieces created to help businesses and groups. Pride & Passion was a project to raise the importance of visitor experience in tourism businesses’ priorities and to help develop and spread good practice in delivering great experiences to customers.

Our kind colleagues at the Scottish Tourism Forum have created a home on their website for things like the Language Guides, 50 Facts, step-by-step guides and whatnot. You don’t have to be a member of the Forum to access the site or the resrouces. They’re here.
The Forum folks have also offered to fill the gap left by the disappearance of the Pride & Passion ezine. They’re going to send our users copies of the weekly Digest to help keep you up to date with tourism stories, developments and comment. You’ll get this automatically and can decide once you’ve had a look at it whether you want to keep getting it or not. Normally you’d have to be a member of STF to receive that so, with them offering it free till the end of the financial year for Pride & Passion users, it’s a really generous gesture. Tourism Innovation Group  will also include you in the circulation of their ezine which is due out in the next couple of days. It focuses on the new, the leading-edge thinking and emerging trends in tourism. Interesting stuff. If you don’t agree, though, you can unsubscribe.

Thanks Gillian and Catherine, you’ve done a great job with visitor experience and product improvement so much more to the fore now. All the best for the future and I’m sure we will see you both at some tourism related event in Scotland.
