Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards
Entries are now open for the 2009 Williamson Foodservice Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards. The Awards, now in their fifth year, complement the work of the Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Forum by encouraging food and drink businesses to be innovative, forward thinking and collaborative and by celebrating excellence and achievement. With some of the best natural produce in the world, the Awards showcase the wide range of food and drink products in the region and the equally diverse profile of businesses, from internationally renowned companies to small innovative producers.
The Awards are open to businesses of all sizes and individuals involved in the food and drink sector across the Highlands and Islands, and industry related services. A full list of categories and award criteria is available here. Entry for the Awards is open now until 20 July 2009. A panel of industry experts will judge the awards, with the shortlist announced early in September.
The winners and finalists of the Awards are recognised at the Awards Dinner, which takes place at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on 23 October 2009. This features a sumptuous four-course dinner featuring local produce, the glittering Awards Ceremony and entertainment. Book your tickets online now!
